Sun Valley Motel

It's a small hotel, but the rooms are NOT completely clean. The pillows are dirty and smell like someone's who slept there before us. I found eyelashes and hairs on the pillows before we went to bed, and the same with the sheets; they were dirty and smelled bad. The bathroom smelled of urine and the soap dispenser wasn't working. The carpet is very dirty and when you enter the room it smells of dampness and dirt... The price is not that cheap considering how dirty the rooms are; you can find a much cleaner hotel for the same price or just a couple of dollars more! If you're someone who likes cleanliness and expects the place you're paying for to be clean and smell good, then this place is definitely not for you...

We’re on a cross-country trip and needed a room for the night. The couple who manages the hotel was very kind and accommodating. The room was spacious and so clean, absolutely spotless, It had recently been renovated. The bathroom -also spotless- has a very convenient large walk-in shower. The bed was super comfortable, the linen was pristine. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very clean. It was very quiet and we slept well. Breakfast was included (your usual motel fare). We highly recommend this little gem if you need a place to stay in the area. For the price and quality, you can’t beat it.

Well, it’s a good hotel, clean and simple, very simple breakfast, I stayed here for one night, good!

This hotel located at Junction, Texas is a good intermediate point for our travel purposes. The rooms are well equipped with a microwave and a fridge; we booked two rooms but only one had a freezer. There was hanging space available and the bathroom floor was very well maintained. The toilet was in good condition and our shower was a tub with a cloth curtain. The heating/cooling was in good condition and the WiFi was working well. Breakfast was very limited to basic continental food. No hot food except waffles. We had checked in late and so the motel offered us a key pickup with a code. Plenty of free parking and a safe area to be in. A great stop for breaking the long travels.

This place had really high reviews so I was expecting something exceptional- kinda disappointing. several of us stayed here while working in this town but she wouldn't give us any kind of discount. The free breakfast advertised doesn't happen. No vending machines & the rooms are exceptionally clean but not very comfortable. It's okay but I'm not going to give 5 ⭐ cuz I didn't like it & I was hungry all day from missing breakfast.
