Morgan Shady Resort

We stayed for one night and didn't see the restroom area to be able to rate but the park is lovely. The ground area was pretty level, easy sewer and water hook ups and good water pressure. The river is right by the campground, and there is a beach for swimming. People were kayaking and fishing on the other side of the river. Though the stay was short, we enjoyed it!

So pretty and right on the river. We will definitely be coming back for camping and more paddle boarding. Came in during the evening and was pleasantly surprised when we woke up to a beautiful river view. Small park. Bonus to see the farm animals nearby. Had a little trouble with hot water in the women’s shower, but overall clean and comfortable.

My family and I had an absolutely amazing experience, Georgia and Debbie could not have been more accommodating to my family's needs. Firewood, fishing poles, fresh towels, local recommendations, you name it they have it. From the extreamly clean cabins to the beautiful grounds and river, this place has it all if you are looking forward to getting away from the cities and enjoying the great outdoors!

I recently camped here with our local fly fishing club and had a very nice time. The location and facilities were everything we could hope for. The ownership was very friendly and accommodating and we will certainly be coming back.

I felt gouged considering what you get for 50 bucks.... There is a reason I guess they don't post any rates on their website.....They pulled all the picnic tables and fire rings for the year..... I found a derelict one in disrepair by the office and used that because we had our hearts set on having a fire.... If you are just tent camping and having a fire isn't critical you are better off at the Schreiner Park public park a few blocks away that allows people to pitch a tent for free overnight... They also don't differentiate between an RV full service lot and a primitive one so the rates are all the same....High..... It was a nice spot to oversee the river though...The restrooms and showers seem to be clean but bring your own towel to dry your hands..... keywords = price, cost, rate.
