Above and Beyond River Resort

This location is also known as Tree Cabins RV Resort and I found it by accident while doing a Google search. We were pleasantly surprised at this location since Google street view doesn't go down the one road (it's one way in and one way out). The property itself was very nice and we got exactly what we wanted - a shady spot to park our trailer. There wasn't anyone in the office as we arrived late and tried calling again as I had talked to Jessica the day before but phone calls and messages went unanswered for quite a while but I did finally get a response apologizing for the late response as they are short handed. Had to stop in for a late check in, was able to coordinate that over the phone with the kind front desk lady beforehand with no issues. Woke up to a pleasant park with great views of the river. It’s an ideal location for the city of Junction.

Looking for a quiet, peaceful, clean place off the beaten path while traveling in your travel trailer or motorhome? This is the place. It appears to be owner operated, and has long gravel pull-throughs with grass on a beautiful rivers edge. We have a 40 foot motorhome, and are towing a Jeep. We had no problem pulling in with plenty of room to spare. The owner is very friendly. She tries very hard to make stay-overs comfortable. We were not able to get TV reception, but the internet is very strong here, which is a plus for us.

Close enough to the highway to be convenient, and far enough away for no highway noise. We found it curious that the office is closed from 12 - 3 PM (siesta?). The rv park is gated, and somewhat small, but there is apparently an expansion happening. The gravel pull through sites are level with good hookups. The cable tv was analog, and mostly fuzzy, but the WiFi was okay. The work camper/ hosts were welcoming and efficient.||There is not much going on anywhere close by, but the deal breaker for us was the lack of Verizon cell service “we are in a dead area, check the Verizon map” - not poor service, no service here or in town. One night was plenty for us.

It was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful for the most part. The beds could use an upgrade or get rid of them all together so we have room for air mattresses. The beds were not comfortable at all. Our second night there was a tejano something going on and it lasted til 4 in the morning. Plus fishing down at the only decent swimming area. Don't get me wrong those were definitely negative but it will not stop me from going back. Just suggesting noise curfew , better beds , and a designated swimming area.
