Sun Retreats Cape Cod

We stayed at this campsite for the long weekend. Our second time. We have traveled with our RV throughout the US and consider this one of the top 5 campsites out of over 100 we have visited. Families with children had a blast with all the Halloween festivities. They have one of the nicest recreational areas we have seen along with magnificent pools. The owner helped us pick out our site as we arrived late Thursday night. Very helpful. One disappointment today was we had hurricane like weather (Nor’easter)and did not have a break from torrential rain and high winds until 10:30. We received a phone call from the front desk (11:20)asking if we checked out yet and after explaining that we were late because of the storm she reminded us that check out was at 11 and they have someone for our site

The campsites are nice. The bathrooms are clean. There are fun things to keep the kids busy between the pool, pond, playground activities, and arcade area. ||However, it isn't tranquil and one of the worst for light pollution, rowdy guests, and lax enforcement of quiet time I have ever encountered in my 30 years of camping. My tent isnt dark due to light pollution from other campers obscene lights and the 24h flood lights projecting onto the pools. It clouds the night sky in the open area available for viewing.||Management is poor. The layout is not designed with guests in mind. There are no walkways to get to the pool or playground area without stepping down the grass hill or walking an extra 0.25 miles and risking getting hit by a motor vehicle on the narrow, one way paved road. ||I woul

Rented one of the cabins for the weekend. Clean and comfortable. The only thing we would do different next time would to bring an extra mattress topper. Need were little firmer then we liked, but that's us. Best moccasin and we walked around the park and week go back with our camper next season. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful.

Our stay at Sun Retreats Cape Cod was nothing short of Check all the boxes of Fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—not just by the friendly, and professional staff, but by the peaceful, well-kept atmosphere of the entire campground. Check in was lighting fast. It took me longer to walk in and out than it did to check in from the positive upbeat smiling staff. We stayed in one of the RV sites by the two Pools. The RV site had all the little touches that made it feel more like a home, picnic table, chairs around the fire pit, they even have a thoughtful General Store with all the supplies you might have forgotten. What a blast me and my family had here as always! The perfect place for an intimate and fun getaway for the kiddos and the wife. Super safe, plenty to do, and everything just a couple of miles up the rode if needed. The only thing this place lacks is apple pay!!!!! Please consider upgrading as myself and many others love the convenience of just tapping our phones and walking out of the store. Especially with the amount of times I had to go in and restock on ice and wood! Other than that this place is easily 10/10, 5 stars! Cant wait to return..
