Sun 'N' Sound

I would say that the place is no-frills, family-run, I liked that it had a small kitchenette but we didn’t buy groceries go there to cook; now I’d know for the future. They were very beautiful on service and when I requested new towels for the next day, they went above and beyond to provide them. They also re-made the bed like new. I would’ve preferred an ice machine and a vending machine at least because I was often without water during my stay. I would probably try to book at a higher end hotel next time and stay in-season but I’m happy I came to The End and got to experience it with my own eyes. ||Within quick walking distance are The Dive Pizza bar, and Salivar’s grill. The food for both were good as we weren’t driving, but mediocre at best for what I was hoping for.

We stayed for three nights over Memorial Day weekend with family. The room was clean, though a bit tight once the sofa bed was open. No early check-in was available. Our first night in Room 216 was noisy due to guests upstairs until 1 am understandable for a holiday weekend. The next day, various guests were fishing off the hotel deck, which felt out of place. Overall, we had a nice time, but it would’ve been better with more considerate guests or staff supervision.

Not very happy with this facility. We had expected to be booked for a room with a beach view. On checking in we were told we had a pool side view. In fact we found that or room had a view of parking lots on both sides. Nice touch. Our room on one side was in between two staircases to the second floor with foot traffic up and down all night long. In addition, cars in an out of the lots with lights shining in our room. As an added bonus on Sunday morning, discarded garbage it the parking lot and good only knows what kind of animal fuzz on the wood planking outside. We had asked to talk to the property manager who wasn’t in until two days later. We left a message for a call back.

We scheduled a last minute visit and Sun N Sound was recommended by a friend. I was very happy with everything. From the friendly service upon arrival, the cleanliness of the room, the amenities, as well as the beautiful view of the water from the balcony as well as inside the unit. I highly recommend Sun N Sound for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway just a short distance from the action in the center of town.

Awful. Tossed and turned all night on the uncomfortable mattress. The duvet didn’t have a cover on it 🤮 The refrigerator was so loud I had to unplug it. There are no curtains, just crappy plastic shades that don’t block any light. One skylight did not have shades. There is an extremely bright light outside that shines through the glass door all night. Prepare to be woken up by the sun whether you like it or not. Overpriced, uncomfortable, I lost a night of sleep. I cannot overstate my disappointment or anger.
