My Dad owned this place in 1960. It was called “Chamblis Court” back then. There used to be a swimming pool in the center area with a diving board and curved slide. I became a very strong swimmer there. I helped my Dad reshingle the roofs, they weren’t tin roofs then. I was “in charge” of the landscaping which meant I mowed the lawn and once a season chopped down the hedge that ran along the sidestreet…….armed with a machete I was a pirate, an explorer, an adventurer and dinosaur hunter………I was 10-11 years old.

I've stayed here for a couple of months. Mostly long term residents living here. The area can be a little high in crime. I even had a plant stolen from me when I left it out overnight. The owner is not very friendly. He often makes me feel uncomfortable and will try to enter your room with no prior notice he is going to do so despite no regular housekeeping being offered and him having no reason to enter it. Very strange place over all. The rates are very cheap compared to other places though. The rooms are very dated as are the appliances but the TV is a nice flat screen at least. Noticed a couple bugs. The overall cleanliness is decent though again room and linens are dated and we did see a couple bugs. No kitchenette available. Hotel only. Grounds are being updated but still need quite

Elderly lady has lived there for 5 years cleaned all the rooms when people left the owner paid her $5 a room to clean them she got scammed by some scammers and didn't have the money to pay her rent and now they want to kick her out after the owner had used the elderly ladies room to store all of his stuff making it dangerous for her to move around and then wanted her to pull weeds out of their flowers which she's old and doesn't need to be doing stuff like that they got mad at her

A friend had to stay here because they were one of a very few places that would except her service dog, but that was only why she stayed. No wifi, no phones in rooms, it was a dank & dreary place. Not even a cup of coffee in the office for their patrons. Didn't feel safe to me, I wouldn't stay, so I can't reccomend anyone else stay there either.
