Fauna Chalet

We stayed with our family in Cabin 12 and had a wonderful experience. The cabin had everything we needed—super comfortable beds, very clean, and stocked with all the essential amenities. Our child absolutely loved the loft and thought it was the coolest part of the cabin! The location was perfect—close to Publix and Silver Springs, which made our trip even better. We had an amazing time at Silver Springs and were we saw gators and manatees. The only thing we wished we had brought were our bikes. There are fantastic bike trails you can access right from the campground, near the bike maintenance area. We would definitely bring our bikes next time! Overall, it was a great stay, and we would happily return.

Fauna Chalet was an absolute dream stay. We flew from Arizona to Florida and drove to Ocala to ring in the New Year, and this upgraded cabin was everything I needed and more. The cabin itself was absolutely beautiful—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed—with a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to truly unwind. The surrounding area was so quiet and serene, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature. We spent three amazing days hiking through scenic forest trails, enjoying the beautiful weather, and even driving out to go ziplining—which was honestly the experience of a lifetime! Had a great time here last week for a couple of nights. The cabin (11) was amazing. Everything you need from a fully stocked kitchen to WIFI. The front deck was nice with a couple of chairs and table along with a gas grill. Located inside of a small RV park the people there were nice and friendly. But the main reason we there was for the top rated bike trails. Located with direct access just feet from the Santo’s trail system this location is awesome. If you enjoy the paved trail or the adventurous mountain bike trails there is something for everyone. Definitely will be back again!
