Suburban Studios Williamsburg Central

This is a great hotel. Clean, no bugs, excellent and accommodating staff and friendly guests staying long term. This is not my first stay here. I have previously given this hotel a five star review and will continue to return here to for my future lodging needs.

Went to Corey's Chicken. The turkey wings were really good seasoned very well. Candy yams were good but the mac n cheese wasn't good but had season. Kool-aid was made with the perfect sweetness. My fiance had fried chicken that he said was really good. We would come back.

The gentleman who checked us in to room 232 was wonderful. But there was no A/C in lobby. The outside of the hotel (walkway, doors to the rooms) looked very rough. As we walked to our room we smelled Marijuana. In our room, the wood around the doorframe in the bathroom was rotting and you couldn't open the door all the way as the door hit the toilet. The rack above the toilet had rust on the bars where the bath towels sat-not a little rust-a lot of rust. The bathroom sink drained so slow after running water-the bowl filled up very quickly and couldn't be used until all the water drained out. The TV had an error message and directed the user to contact the provider for assistance at a 1-800 number. I stayed in Roadway Inn Suburban Suits on Richmond road williamsburg from July -Dec 2023 for business. Front desk staff let me choose my room for this long stay and they literally made me feel like I am home. This hotel has very friendly personnel and they were always ready to get whatever I wanted or needed. I felt extremely safe here. My room was a suit, very comfortable, large and clean. Bed was very comfortable and the beddings are clean. They change beddings and towels on request that could mean daily if you prefer. My priorities for this long stay was feeling safe, cleanness and friendly staff which I found all these in this hotel. It is also in walking distance to Food Lion. I will definitely stay in this hotel if/when I return for work to Williamsburg.

The staff was very nice, but the room was lacking. The bottom dresser drawer was broken, the end table was missing a piece of the laminate, the elevator was out of order, the pathways to the rooms reeked of urine.
