Suburban Studios at the University

My recent stay at this location was completely ruined. The quality of this hotel room was unsafe and unclean. Pictures provided show evidence of pet damage, pee soaked mattresses, unwashed towels sheets and blankets and overall depressing conditions. I am requesting a full reimbursement. We could not sleep under the sheets. I will continue to post reviews for this location as well contact the guest experience line to inform other potential guests before they spend their money.

I booked this based of the pictures I saw on the website and thought it was going to be good. However, I booked a non smoking room upon entering the room I got the opposite, straight smoking room. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and left it alone. Yet the sheets had stains and burnt holes, there was water coming thru the floor boards in the bathroom and the light in the mirror was broken. I finally decided to go to the front desk & bring this issue and the staff were very friendly and nice. I was able to get a room. The new room still had a smoking smell to it but not as bad and the conditions were a little better. YET, the sheets still had a stain and burnt holes one them and after requesting a change of sheets guess what the new “clean” sheets had. Another stained and burn

We booked same day for a spur of the moment trip in October, prices were not bad for that time of year, they do charge extra for pets. We got a double queen room, had a fridge, microwave, and kitchenette. Rooms were definitely older with some bad patch jobs, but all in all the room was clean and worked great for the one night we stayed. Front desk person was very nice. We did not have breakfast there, so can't say anything about that. We'd stay again.

Forrest, Jonathan, JR, along with the cleaners were nice, and the breakfast host showed me how to make a waffle! Calming atmosphere in the room with stove top w/fan, frig with freezer, microwave. I had a smoking room with two queen beds. Nice tv, amenities i.e. soap, lotion, shampoo yet bring conditioner. Hair dryer, iron w/board, No elevators so stay on floor level open door and car is right there. For the price and location to everything was a great deal for a short stay.

Well never been to a hotel that wants a $100 deposit when you check in, nothing was said about that when made reservations. Then got to the room and it wasn’t even clean. Bet sheets were laying on the floor, pillows were yellow and nasty looking, the floors were coming apart. They ended up putting us in their other hotel which was a lot nicer and a lot cleaner
