Studio Motel of Lake George

My family and I stayed here this week and had a wonderful experience. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, everything worked, the kitchenette was a nice amenity. The kids enjoyed the pool. The owners clearly take pride in their property. It was one of the nicest motels I've stayed in. Location was close to the town but far enough away to be quiet. Highly recommended for an affordable stay near lake George! If we visit again this is where we'll stay.

Staff at this motel were very nice, starting with the woman at the desk during checkin. Another time someone opened the pool for us so we could retrieve my son’s shoes that he had accidentally left the night before. The room was spacious and smelled and looked very clean. The location was perfect - very close to town but peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend!

We have stayed here several times now. It has always been clean, comfortable and affordable. We stayed again last month in the brand new building. It was large beautiful with 2 queen beds. The beds were comfortable; there was a wet bar with large mini fridge (freezer compartment), a 5 cup drip coffee maker, sink and microwave. The bath was very large with tile floor. We sat out on the large shared balcony to drink our coffee every morning. The room was well insulated; you could not hear traffic and and noise from other rooms. You are only about 1/2 mile from the lake. You could walk but the Trolley stops here as well. The owners, Shawn and Ava are nice friendly people who keep an immaculate property. I would give it a zero if could. No way can all those reviews be real saying it’s clean. Rooms are so old and dated. Like to point I dont want to touch anything. Seriously, I wouldn’t even shower there. The carpet, tile in bathroom, bedding and curtains are well over 30 years old. Omg! don’t walk barefoot in the room. |I don’t understand how anyone could be okay with staying here.
