Studio 6 Suites Amarillo, TX – West Medical Center

It was a clean room and very spacious. The walls had a couple holes and could use a little patching and paint. Furniture is outdated but again it was clean and comfortable. Good value and no water in the hot tub. But again for the price it's not bad. One of the pieces of workout equipment has a broken cable. The ladies at the front counter were very nice and courteous. However when I left they did not credit my $50 deposit back to my credit card. I had to call my bank and dispute the charge. Mistake, I don't know but not good service.

Wonderful Stay! After driving over 1,000 km that day on our way back home, we stopped at Studio 6 Amarillo – West Medical Center, and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, the receptionist behind the counter was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, even taking the time to share a few suggestions on what to see in town, even though we only had a couple of hours to explore. Fresh coffee was ready in the lobby when we arrived — such a thoughtful touch after a long day on the road. Our room was huge, spotless, and cozy, with a full-size fridge, a mini kitchen (sink, toaster, and cooking counter), and even a coffee machine. At first glance, this hotel seemed at least decent. The lobby and inside courtyard appeared elegant. However, entering the room was completely different. The first thing we noticed was the smoke alarm kept beeping from a dead battery. They told us to just unplug it. Nice, that's safe. Then the main light started flickering and, before I could make a complaint about it, there it was. A little cockroach. Right on the table. This place is gross and don't recommend to anyone.

don’t let the pictures fool you. This place is filthy, outdated and a safety risk. Booked on hotels.com a day before , the room I was checked into had not been cleaned so I got other room but it didn’t look fully cleaned either, a cleaning person opened the door on me (even with deadbolt locked)and didn’t knock first. I was concerned for my safety and couldn’t stay here, was told I could cancel, but was still charged. DO NOT Stay here, it is the worst hotel I have ever seen. the Marriot suites next door is 1000 times better.

My Wife and I spent the Thanksgiving holiday here and Star made sure we had the best time we've ever had in a hotel. Our room was perfect and the service was excellent. 10 Stars for Star she is the absolute best and my Wife and I are always going back here whenever we're in Amarillo. She really made us feel at home. Great service Ms. Star !
