Studio 6 Extended Stay

My husband and I stayed here for one night and we were satisfied with our stay. The room was very nice and they allowed us to stay with our dogs. We got a good deal too. The only negative was the weird smell. It wasn't bad but it was strange. We would definitely stay here again. Great location.

We booked pay now and save so the room was a great price. King bed, no smoking, with a sleeper sofa, Room 202. With taxes $69.94. The room was spacious and clean for the most part. The shower needs more attention as it had pink mold or mildew. Picture attached. Be sure to duck your head as the shower door frame is low. The water pressure is not all that great. The bathroom is all enclosed meaning the sink, toilet and shower (no bathtub) are all in the same area. This property does not have a pool but you can use La Quinta’s next door. Laundry facility is located on 2nd floor. $2.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry. WiFi is intermittent as well as cable however there was hard rain in the area. Breakfast is normal fare. We had used our computer to make reservations at a hotel that accepts pets. After making our reservations there was a note that the hotel only took two pets. We called them and told them that we had just adopted three pets and the guy told us that was okay, to come on down.||||We had a nice room with a king size bed, microwave, refrigerator, TV, nice dresser and a desk to use our lap top computer. The shower was nice, there was no tub in our room. There was also a coffee, tea, maker and a bucket for ice.||||The breakfast was nice with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, toast, sweet rolls, cold cereal, coffee and orange juice. Room was not up to cleanliness expectations of any hotel/motel, no housekeeping around all weekend, no fresh towels to shower with, bed linens had stains on them, bathroom apparently hadn’t been cleaned in a while due to soap scum in shower ring around toilet dirt in bathtub, fridge in room had hair in it, hallways smelled horrible. Same trash on floor in hallway from fri pm-sun pm.. dust everywhere in room, ac wouldn’t shut off and heat wouldn’t turn on.. no breakfast served at all.. overall not my best experience at all , would rather pay a few dollars more for a better experience.

Stayed one night during aftermath of Hurricane Harvey; was lucky to get a room. Comfortable beds, air conditioning worked and breakfast was basic but plentiful. Staff were handling unexpected influx pretty well. Note that you have to leave one building and go outside to enter other building with rooms--making luggage transport or those with mobility issues have some difficulty. Animals allowed--could hear pets next door.
