Strand Ocean Drive Suites

Absolutely unacceptable experience. We booked this property for 3 nights and were forced to leave after just one night due to shocking room conditions. The sofa bed linens were clearly not changed and had a visible brown-reddish stain on them. On top of that, the room had a strong, horrible odor that made it feel completely unsanitary. The room was so disgusting and unpleasant that staying even one more night was impossible. We had no choice but to leave early and find alternative accommodation. To make matters worse, there was no proper accountability afterward. Despite clear issues that fall far below basic hospitality and hygiene standards, no meaningful refund was provided. I attempted to book twice. The whole ordeal made me feel extremely unsafe as a woman. The manager Rob called me after I made my first reservation with Expedia and told me: that my reservation was not valid unless I paid him several hundred dollars more or extended it to 4 days, he would cancel my reservation. He proceeded to state that his studio apartment was too big for two people, I wouldn’t like the location and that I should stay near the airport! Plus there would be a music festival and the noise would be too much for me. |My second reservation was done on the hotel’s website via the link he sent to me after dictating which units I should select as he was reserving others for larger groups. He then contacted me and said unless I paid nearly two hundred more for a supposed “sales” t

Positive: I love the partial ocean view. I like that it?s right on ocean drive, walking distance to everything. Negative: The elevator was broken we had to walk 4 flights of stairs. Judging by previous reviews the elevator is always broken. I don?t like they the rooftop pool/bar seems to be public. The side door is always broken open and anyone has access.

Very convenient location: first line from the sea and near Versace mansion and not far from the Lincoln promenade. In the evenings, many cozy cafes of different cuisines are open. The room is large, clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The staff is very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend these apartments!

Fantastic stay! The host was responsive and thoughtful, making everything seamless. We loved the beautiful rooftop pool, ocean views, and bar. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Amazing location, right on Ocean Blvd across from the beach, with restaurants right outside.
