Stemac's Bayview Cabins

We had a wonderful stay at Stemac’s Bayview Cabins! The cabins were clean, cozy, and well-equipped. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. The location on the water is beautiful and peaceful. What really stood out was the service. J.R., the owner, was absolutely wonderful! Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made our stay even more enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

This was an added bonus to a beautiful place to vacation. You can see regularly a bald eagle perched on Butler Island as well. J.R. is a very accommodating proprietor. He wants to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The cabins are clean, no musty smell. The showers are very roomy, lots of hot water, and good water pressure. I stayed there twice this year. J.R. has a wealth of knowledge to share about the best fishing spots. I highly recommend Stemac's as a place to get away. The prices are as low as you're going to find. He has told me personally he intends to keep them low. Five stars.

We had a lovely visit. The cabin (#8) was clean, cozy and comfortable. It’s well- stocked with everything you need. The location was excellent - next time we’ll bring ice fishing gear :). We’d like to come back in summer or Fall and explore the area, especially Puctured Ricks National Lakeshore more. We appreciate the rustic charm of the resort.

My review is accurate, and you should check the definition of Iibelous because that does not apply to anything I wrote about my experience. My very first sentence states - "I couldn't leave a different review about the actual cabin because I never got the chance to stay in it". I also stated your husband was trying to accommodate us from another cabin that had mold, not yours. Your husband offered us to stay in even us the smallest cabins you have to help us. He was extremely pleasant and friendly. I asked if you booked directly and you said no, that was never an issue for us, I simply inquired. We finished out our stay at the cabin we had paid a week for and began looking for accommodations again for the remainder of our stay. Our negative experience was was only with you. It probably c
