Customer Reviews
I had a wonderful experience at the Lakeside Motor Inn. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and made sure everything was comfortable during my stay. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed. The location is peaceful and convenient — close to town, yet quiet enough to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I especially appreciated the neatness of the place and the friendly service. It’s clear the management takes great care of both the property and their guests. I’d definitely recommend the Lakeside Motor Inn to anyone visiting Gladstone — it’s a great value and a comfortable place to stay!
Solid hotel for the price ($90+fees), especially when other nicer places in town were $200+ (busy weekend). Room (205) was clean enough to feel comfortable (a little dust here/there), carpet DIDN’T feel sticky or gross, bed was fine (pillows were meh), AC worked well, good water pressure, and there were extra blankets in the room already. The room has a mild smell but wasn’t offensive/bothersome (the hallway smelled more musty but didn’t affect the room). Sink water also had a mild smell but I didn’t notice any smell in the shower. Furniture was outdated, room lighting was kinda dim (not too dim tho), and shower was kinda small, but who cares? TV didn’t work sadly but maybe they could have fixed it. Overall I was glad I stayed here and would stay again.
Hard towels and uncomfortable beds. Did not sleep well. If you want a quick rest it’s okay. I would not stay here again. Good luck.
I am traveling through for one night and discovered this inn and was very happy with it. Delightfully surprised that the size of the room and the dining table allowed for me too work on my laptop and spread things out. Everything was clean and neat. Appears as though accommodations have been refreshed recently, and they did a very nice job. If I pass this way again in the future, I will definitely stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful during check-in.
The room was awful, and we ended up not spending the night. The room had an unpleasant smell and was very dimly lit. It was very stuffy and overall unpleasant. The microwave looked like it was from the 80s and it was just sitting on top of the fridge. The little thing that made me snap was the hangers. They were all different and some were some that you'd get clothes on at the store. Make note we spent $200 a night for this nightmare of a room. The only positive is that we were able to get a refund. If they have rooms available, you know why.
