Gladstone Motel

Old fashioned inexpensive Motel. Check in and out over the phone. Room serviceable but tiny. Cramped bathroom with running toilet. However you can walk to anywhere in central Gladstone from there which makes it real handy.

3 nights stay. Room from the 60s which would have been bad had there not been: toilet problems, light under front door, no outlet in bathroom, 30 pillows about the size of a grapefruit, ceiling looks like it's bout to fall in, no on sight management, carpet hadn't been vacuumed in a month. Best of all WIFI password was Rateus10. OMG their level of cleanliness is not the level of most American homes.

We walked into the room that spelled like mold. Before we went to bed my husband had to remove cobwebs and kill spiders hanging over the bed. The shower was filled with mildew. The switch plate was dirty and extension chords connected the lamps, frig and microwave. Someone had gotten rush money to score this place a 3. Horrible.

When i call to book it was giving one price and when i checked in i was guving a different amount .. You should update the pictures of wat the rooms actually look like with the mold, mildew, the wet carpets from the AC, and the fridge, the window that don't close,

Ignore the rating. Read the reviews. I wish I had. Toilet was loose from the floor and leaked. Bathroom is tiny with mold in shower. 1960 motel with no upgrades. No management on site. Other guest had a parking lot get together from 3-4 AM. With tax room was $100. It was what you would expect for a $29.95 room.
