Rod & Reel Resort

We enjoyed our stay while visiting my dad. Ms.Pam was very nice and the cabin was very clean. The only thing is the water has a smell to it so we had to buy water to cook, make coffee and brush our teeth with. Everything else was cozy. Will stay again whenever I go back to visit my dad.

I called and asked for a cabin for my husband and our family and was told it's small but yes it's available. I had to speak to my husband about it, he called and spoke to the owner and let her know we also had a dog. She said fine come by and take a look at the cabin. I drive all the way there, go to the office and she comes out and says I didn't tell her I had kids, yes I did and so did my husband. She said it won't work. I said it's ok if it's small as long as it's clean and she said no, it won't work. Wow. We are from the UP. Both of two little boys are yoopers, born at home in Chatham. We've sold and moved after covid and have come back when my husband is needed for repairs at the paper mills which is why we are here now. The owners were very nice and accommodating to our every needs. Great access from their dock to the Bay. Be prepared to bring all your kitchen needs, as few are provided, but there is a grocery store nearby. We enjoyed our stay here.

Very adequate cabins with a kitchenette. My son and I stayed there almost a week and had a blast out fishing. We will be back next year!

Loved the area. Don & Pam are the nicest and most generous people. They treat there guest like they are family!
