Steamboat Grand

We stayed there for a week in February of 2026. The location, staff, pool and food were all very nice. The big shortcoming was the lack of a dresser and drawers in the bedrooms. We had to live out of our suitcases for a week which was a serious inconvience. Under the televisions was a simple media cabinet, no dresser with drawers, that every other hotel has in each room. The did have nice closets so we hung up what we could, but you can't hang up socks, underwear, long underwear, turtle necks, t-shirts etc. Also there was no night stand between the beds in the third bedroom, another big inconvenince.

I cannot say enough good things about the Steamboat Grand—the location, the staff, and the easy transportation to and from destinations throughout Steamboat. We have been coming here annually since 2014. The Cabin restaurant not only serves delicious food, but also puts a unique twist on its dishes that makes every meal amazing. The amenities are outstanding, including two huge Jacuzzis, a large swimming pool, dry and wet saunas, and a fully equipped workout room with everything needed for an amazing workout. It’s also a short walk to the Gondola transportation hub and Gondola Square by the slopes. I highly recommend the Steamboat Grand to anyone who wants to feel pampered in Steamboat!

Amazing hotel right across from the gondolas! Pool and hot tubs are big and warm even in winter. Staff is always friendly. Huge rooms with comfy setting.

Beautiful place. Many luxury amenities: Heated outdoor pool & hot tubs, gym, saunas, free laundromat, WiFi. Large comfortable fully-equipped condo unit & full kitchen. Several great restaurants/pubs in the building or nearby. Free shuttle to town with many restaurants & shops. Across the street from the Ski Base area for access to entire mountain.

We went here on a 3-day excursion in the middle of the week in shoulder season (mid-November). We just needed to get away for a few days. We got a great deal on a room where the price of two nights was likely less than the price of one night during high season. The staff are all very friendly. The hotel is very warm and cozy. The rooms are exquisite. And these are great! Especially loved the hot tubs. There are two of them and they are huge! As you exit the building for them, the hot tub on the left seems to be not as hot as the hot tub on the right. The hot tub jets are great in both! Also, they claim that the pool is swimming and swim out, but there's only a 6 ft entry to the pool right outside of the door near the steam rooms and saunas. So you can't really swim indoors.
