Staybridge Suites Chicago -- Glenview by IHG

Wife & I stayed a Sunday night @ Staybridge-Glenview while visiting relatives nearby. Location was very convenient for our purposes, easy to access off Willow Road at traffic light intersection with Patriot Blvd.. The front desk check-in clerk (Eddy) was very professional & informed me of the property's key features, and I was immediately recognized as an IHG One Rewards member. Public spaces appeared clean & maintained. Housekeeping staff members were respectful. Zig-zag hallways to the elevator & guest rooms take some getting used to. Queen Studio offered enough room for two adult occupants, clean & maintained; outside traffic noise wasn't noticeable late in the weekend; seating area furnishings on the low end of comfortable; suite refrigerator was noisy. Was upgraded to a two bedroom from the king one bedroom I booked. As it was only me, I just used the king bedroom, but the extra room was nice. Staff was very helpful, I had a problem with the microwave, and they sent the maintenance staff right away and replaced it. No small task as they are mounted permanent to the wall. Maintenance staff were very professional and accommodating. Bed are alway comfortable, hotel is quiet, rooms are clean. Having stayed here a lot, the only critique is the furniture is worn and probably needs to be replaced. Overall though, always find it a great experience staying here. Highly recommend.

As the title states, this was a perfect Park/Sleep/Fly hotel! Checkin was extremely easy as well as arranging a pickup for the following morning to transport our family to O'Hare and setting up the pickup for our return at the airport. Both transfers were excellent with vehicles arriving early and ready for us. The drive is approximately 30 minutes. Liked that there were no additional stops along the way as it was more of an Uber/taxi service that is paid for by the hotel. Upon returning the driver even drove us directly to our car in the parking lot and helped transfer our luggage. Very easy and efficient service! I stayed here for a week. The first two nights I couldn't park in the parking lot because it was being renovated but there was an alternative solution. The parking lot is large but you may have difficulty to park if there are a lot of trucks and trailers... The room was very old but it was okay. Cleaning needs to be improved and there is little to no sound insulation in the rooms, you can hear absolutely everythings. The whole hotel need to be renowated. Free breakfast was good. Gym was okay for few days. The only one elevator worked well. Free laundry was okay, one washer was out of order all week long. Other washer and dryer worked well. The staff was nice.

My family and I had an immaculate experience at Staybridge Suits Glenview! The staff was stellar, the room was large and well equipped, the breakfast and snack options were excellent and their amenities were great. I’ll definitely be staying there whenever I’m in town!
