stayAPT Suites Harrisburg-Hershey

My family and I traveled to PA to visit Hersheypark's Candylane and to visit my husband's mother. This was our first time at StayAPT as it was a very convenient location for what we needed. The hotel was very clean, spacious and the front desk was very welcoming. The hotel provided all essentials for our stay. Our family ran into traffic on our way there and Ms. Justine called to notify us that there front office was about to close and she was going to have our paperwork and keys placed in locked and secure lockbox upon our arrival. She assured me that once we had ourselves settled the next morning to come down to visit her to return our paperwork. We made it in time and she was very nice. Probably the worst hotel we have stayed at. The entire place including our room smelled like weed and there was LITERALLY poop on the bathroom door! Everyone hanging out there looked high. Needless to say, we didn't even feel comfortable staying there so we left and found another hotel to stay at for the night. Do not recommend!

I want to say it’s great because it’s newer and modern. Beds were comfy. Our room however was not clean. Hair in windowsill’s, super dusty…I cleaned it! And, the carpeted bedroom full of someone else’s crumbs. We asked them to come vacuum and they did. Staff was nice. BUT, the reviews aren’t wrong when they say it feels like a motel 6. It’s sketchy for sure with people hanging around smoking on the outside…and the staff included…I wouldn’t stay here again.

I stayed overnight on a weekend and it was nice. I had the accessible suite. Clean modern interior with laminate flooring and powered shades. The staff was also nice and helped with a few accommodations including an extended check out. Overall I recommend it. Just one thing to note, bring your own toiletries.
