City on a Hill at Spring Creek

We absolutely loved our stay at City on a Hill! The Vineyard Cabin was everything we hoped for — cozy, secluded, and peaceful, yet just a short drive from the restaurants and nightlife in Fredericksburg. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub under the stars — it was the perfect way to unwind together. The cabin had everything we needed for a quiet weekend away. The kitchen was stocked with the basics, and while there wasn’t a stove, the air fryer and outdoor grill worked perfectly for simple meals. The blackout curtains made the mornings extra restful, and being the last cabin on the row gave us a wonderful sense of privacy. If you were traveling with an infant or child sleeping in a travel crib, I think the bathroom area is large enough and dark enough for them to have their own

We had a wonderful stay at City on the Hill at Spring Creek. Our cabin, Victory, was charming. It was well stocked with coffee maker, coffee pods, dishes, glasses including wine glasses, and much more. I looked at the photos and checked Trip Advisor and other sites to see reviews. The reviews were glowing and very well deserved. Our cabin was exactly as pictured. Everything was very clean and set up for our stay. The bed was very comfortable. To our surprise there was a sauna room. The property is so pretty and very relaxing. There are adorable ponies and cows that we saw grazing from our porch. During a morning walk we saw beautiful deer and birds. If you are in Fredericksburg and looking for a fantastic place to stay, I would recommend City on a Hill . We were there for two nights and

What a wonderful experience for my fiancés birthday. The owner was so pleasant and accommodating. Her communication was amazing as well. Our cabin was absolutely fabulous and well appointed. I will suggest bringing some pots and pans if you plan on cooking in your room. We were able to make do with what was provided to us though. Our stay was off season and it was so quiet and relaxing. Walking the property with our dogs was pawfect. The ponies were as cute as can be too. We will definitely be making this an annual thing in January. We even booked an additional night because we were so pleased. The host was able to accommodate us in another cabin.

Had a great few days at City in a Hill @Spring Creek for the anniversary this summer! We never saw the ponies though. The cabin was clean and cool when we arrived with every thought to detail- from fresh towels to coffee service ready ( could’ve used a few more coffee creamers as there were two of us and we stayed more than one night.) Cabin had super cute decor and the location was great - outside of town but close enough to enjoy the local fare. We enjoyed the hot tub and our coffee on the sunny front porch with the deer enjoying their breakfast nearby. Just what we needed for a few days away from the hustle of home. Would recommend and will come again! Thanks!

Absolutely loved our cabin getaway! The cabin was clean, spacious, and perfectly appointed. Unwinding in the hot tub under the stars was pure bliss. The quiet location was just what we needed to unplug and recharge. Town is only 8 miles down the road. Our host went above and beyond, making sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to come back!
