Starlite Motel

Seems like they are spending about million dollar in renovations. Manager Debbie gave me a tour of new rooms that they are making. Love the full size double door refrigerator along with big tv and hardwood floors. Next time will be staying when coming for work or with family

The rooms are shabby. Old and out dated. Most rooms are occupied by people living there. They sit outside, play loud music, has grills outside for the residents to have crowds gathering. Service desk is opened 24 hours, vending machines inside that area for chips, soda and bottled water. Pets are allowed. Plenty of parking in lot. $60 a night, key card entry to rooms. No fridge or microwaves in rooms.

The rooms did not look very well. They were dirty and had a dirty smell not recommended at all.

They have updated some of the rooms with newer furniture and wood flooring. Front desk staff were helpful and courteous to my requests. Overall not a bad place to stay for a decent price.

Why is house keeping knocking on my door at 9:20:AM waking me up when check out is at 11:00AM? Why was there no tissue in the bathroom or liner for the garbage? Why is the phone off of the hook? Why did she say she had to Find me some tissue as if there isn’t a supply readily available?
