Best Western Plus South Holland/Chicago Southland

The hotel staff handled my billing inquiry without hesitation. They reviewed the transaction and clarified each charge. Transparency in financial matters builds trust. My stay ended on a positive note.

This is a plesant hotel, very clean, relatively modern. Rooms are decent sized but lack closets. Bathroom and shower were great. But, if you are expecting decent internet, look elsewhere. We could not get connected in our room, so I went down to the desk where the very nice manager got me connected. Then I went back to the room and lost the connection. It was getting late so I thought I would try in the morning. The manager gave me the phone number of the internet provider. I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying different options, non of which worked. Also, while the address is Halsted Street, the hotel is among several hotels off of a frontage road.

Came for a short family trip and needed an extra bed arrangement. The request was processed quickly after a brief consultation at the desk. Billing adjustments were explained clearly. Service standards were maintained.

Staying here now. Room smells terrible. Carpet VERY old the hallway. Bathroom is meh….room paint chipping. Check in was very slow and they tried to add on additional $40. It is very obvious management is ignoring this property. UPDATE: we did not check in early at all for our reservation. We checked in hours after the posted “check-in” time. Not sure why that was brought up in your response.
