Stardust South Beach Hotel

We really appreciate and recommend the Hotel managment.They were so nice and helpful. We were a family of 8, 4 kids and 4 adults. We rent 2 rooms for 3 nights. Prices were afordable, specially because it was 4th of July week! The rooms have a half kitchen 2 beds,two full closets and a nice Bathtub. The management was so kind and got us two electric Stoves, since we rather cooked and not just eat out all the time. We just walk a block away to Ocean Front St. And then the beach is right there a few feet away. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I totally will come back to this same hotel!

Tried to book the hotel through booking .com and kept getting messages to update my card for payment . After following directions , the site is saying if we cancel we will get charged a 196$ cancellation fee. I tried numerous time to contact the hotel; no answer . I left messages but am unsure with whom because there was no greeting on the answering machine . I contacted booking .com to resolve the issue and was shocked that they were leaving the decision of a refunds to the hotel when I felt my dealings was through the booking site . ( I will be leaving a review for them as well) never less to say "after " my reservation was cancelled through the booking site .... the hotel decided to charge my card a full payment of the stay . We booked through Booking.com and have been trying for days to contact Stardust Hotel — countless emails, calls, and messages, yet no reply whatsoever. The phone line rings endlessly, and no one responds to emails, either from us or from Booking.com themselves. There was an obvious mistake in our reservation (two rooms booked for two people on the same dates), yet the hotel completely ignored every attempt to resolve it. Their so-called “check-in policy,” where reception only opens between 3 PM and 10 PM and guests are fined for arriving later, is something I have never encountered anywhere in the world — it should be clearly stated before booking, not hidden in small print. Pros: The location was great, safety, size of the room and beds. A cute cat lives there :) parking garage around 6 minutes away. Cons: The room for the price is genuinely wild. 1) the toilet wasn’t clean 2) the room and especially the sheets smelled musty 3) the AC is quite loud 4) we had to shower cold bc the manager forgot to tell us that we have to turn the knob to the opposite direction of what it shows (to blue instead of red for hot water) We voiced our concerns and feedback to the manager and he didn’t offer a single thing except for “sorry”. We paid 420$ (!!!) for one night. That price comes with expectations and they weren’t even nearly met. There’s not even a bottle of water in the room.
