Star Motel

This place is really REALLY old, and the location makes for an incredibly noisy night. It was kinda clean, but everything was old and dilapidated. It was pretty much what I expected, but it should be cheaper for what it is.

We ordered on line and our order was ready when we got there and it was all as ordered. The store was busy but clean. They give away coffee grounds to use in your potted plants. The restrooms were very clean.

Not safe. The doors are so flimsy! There’s no deadbolt or chain on the door, anyone could open from the outside, and it’s exposed on this major highway so it’s def a safety concern.

My friend lives here and it's ok. But for 400 a week, you would think you could have someone over to take a shower instead of them having to pay an extra 10 bucks to do so!! Crazy right??? It is what it is!! Rooms are pretty clean though!

Room was amazing. of course it's an older structure. That is a given. But I was impressed that the everything that matters is top notch. Thr shower was clean and the hot water was perfectly heated and the pressure is great too. The staff are always friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Of all the older ones along Ocala's stretch of HWY 301/441 This is the most comfortable perfectly functional of all the ones that I have been able to experience myself. Never even thought about an insect of any sort because I never saw any type of crawly the whole weekend I was a guest there. 👍👍👌
