Standish House - Vacation Rental / Corporate Apartment

Had a very comfortable stay here while relocating. The location is right in the middle of everything, with lots of great restaurants just blocks away. Very walkable while also having easy parking and quick access to the entire city!

Standish House is a gorgeous renovation of a 100 year old home with modern conveniences. The 3 bed, 2 1/2 bath apartment is a 2nd floor walk-up and is comfortably furnished with a tasteful combination of traditional and modern pieces. It is very clean, and there is plenty of storage. It is well light with large windows and ample lighting for evenings. There is plenty of room to entertain and also to spread out if someone in your group needs privacy to work. The large galley kitchen has all the necessary dishes, utensils and pots and pans and plenty of counter space. On initial inspection we noted a couple of lightbulbs that needed changing and maintenance was on top of it as we were moving in. The House is located on a quiet street a block from Peachtree. My partner and I stayed at Standish House for over a year while our own home was being renovated. We loved everything about the experience from the quality of the home to the convenience of the location and quiet neighborhood right in the middle of the city. Many of the restaurants in the neighborhood became our favorites, especially Tuk Tuk Thai, Botica, and Mellow Mushroom Pizza. There are parks and running trails within walking distance and you can easily bike to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and Piedmont Park. It’s so only a short walk to Piedmont Hospital and the Shepherd Center.
