Stampede Motel

I love these old motels comma OFFICE guy was polite, room was very inexpensive and I’ll tell you why. ANTS and you’re not alone in the room ANTS, crap. See pictures. I’d avoid this place, there’s lots of other motels in Omak.

Owner not in office at important times of day. eg. Around 11am when "rent" is due. TVs are outdated but have dish network satellite service. Prices are $49/$59 night depending on 1 or 2 beds. Cozy rooms, nice sized fridge and microwave. No internet available. But for the price is a good place to be.

If you can avoid this motel I'd highly suggest it. It's the cheapest place in omak most of the time but you'll be getting what you pay for. Its extremely dated, the tv we will not be a flatscreen, you may wonder if the sheets had been washed since the last occupant. This place really needs a makeover and probably deserves new owners.

Question for the low stars. Did you know the owner cliff broke his neck at a young age? So he processes things differently then most humans. Did you know he was a typer. And one of the few to master every form of typing? He took care of the motel his mother in law while his wife worked long hours to take care of everything cause he wanted the motel to be cheaper on purpose? It's not updated so what. I stayed there a month. I watched him clean almost every room every day regardless of people being in them or not. He works hard to take care of alot of things that were just dropped on him one day.

Smelled moldy window wouldn't open, but the price was low.
