Best Western Plus Peppertree Inn at Omak

⭐️ (1/5) I stayed here for an extended stay of about a month. While several front-line staff members were excellent, my overall experience was defined by management interactions that ultimately made me feel unwelcome. First, I want to recognize staff who genuinely provided good hospitality: • David and Ben were excellent and helped move my belongings efficiently when I needed to change rooms. • Michael in the dining area consistently made me feel welcome and taken care of. • Alan at the front desk was kind, efficient, and allowed me to view multiple rooms before finalizing a move. • Jennifer at the front desk was warm and thoughtful from check-in onward, personally delivering items to my room and following up to ensure I was comfortable. • The evening front desk associate was also friend

We booked pretty last minute (for check in within a few hours after our call) on a Friday evening and the rate was reasonable, the staff was very friendly, and the room was clean. A major deciding factor is that they are pet friendly and we had our small dog with us. The hotel seems pretty new and well kept. They serve a full breakfast, which was a nice surprise. We experienced a minor issue and it was resolved very quickly- no complaints there. Note: They have a check in kiosk and I highly recommend just checking in with the front desk for now- it took forever for the kiosk to load and once you start the check in process on the kiosk, you can’t cancel it. Two other parties were checked in by the desk before the machine finally spit out our room keys.

The breakfast adds a tremendous amount of value to the price we pay to stay here. Yes, it cost 2.5 times more than the getto hotel down the street BUT you get 100 times the value....maybe more. For one: interior hallways with doors that close all the way, extra locks AND working tv's. Two: a staff that gives EXCELLENT customer service. I stayed 4 nights, so I met a good handful. Each and every one knew their stuff and didn't mess around. Sincere smiles on their faces. It really seems like they enjoy their jobs!! Side note: 1 tv didn't work the first night. Desk clerk was up in minutes to try and figure it out, but we were both befuddled. I let him know it was ok to have it fixed the next day. Took off the next morning and when I returned later, it was FIXED!! Didn't even have to follow

Stayed one night. Called desk for ice machine location and I was told both machines are broken. They suggested I should go to the market and buy my own ice. Obviously neglecting repair if both are down at the same time. Comforter is paper thin and does not keep customer warm. Got into shower and found out there is no soap in shower dispenser. They stopped daily room service during Covid and never resumed it. Now room service is once every 5 days but the price of the room keeps going up. |For the price, I think people are a lot better off going airbnb.
