Reading other reviews, I thought it would be a safe place to camp. The sign next to the entrance says otherwise. It is a small gravel parking area with an outhouse, similar to a rest stop, surrounded by trees next to Highway 155. We did not stay here and kept moving to find a more suitable spot.
Stayed here in an RV. Had full hookups and showers. The lake was very low, lots of flying bugs.
Don't expect much. There's a bathroom (outhouse would better describe it).
It is so pleasantly peaceful in the mountains
