Stage Coach Motel

It was late. I was tired. The room was warm, shower was hot, and the beds were comfy. Night counter manager stated it was under new ownership. I was traveling with my dogs and needed a stop that allowed them. Pups came in and bigger dogs stayed in van. Electrical outlets by door allowed me to plug in my vehicle and portable heater to keep them comfortable. It was a cool crisp 7deg. I would stay again for 55.00. No discounts...

This is one of the oldest motels in Cheyenne; no doubt has been updated to an extent more than twice; it was generally clean, carpet was quite nice and clean; bathroom was clean and most adequate. Lots of hot water and PSI. Bed and pillows like sleeping on a cloud... and stark white; WIFI and it worked perfectly. There was a table and two chairs, microwave, phone, clock and refrigerator, nice closest for clothes but take a couple extra hangars. We checked in about 9 p.m. and he had already locked for the night; however, unlike on down the avenue, this gentleman unlocked the door and graciously checked us in...I had to make a remark to my friend: "Gee, we stayed in luxury in NE for $79, that included tax) and we stayed here for $69 and tax included. Nice young couple, quiet at that time in the a.m. Room left a lot to be desired;with that said, the bed was comfy as was the pillows. Hot water with good pressure although I just used the sink. Carpets needs cleaned badly. Did have refrigerator and microwave...do not know if they worked or not. This motel is on a strip of motels from say Marriots to the Sands to this one...older, needs a lot of help. Would be nice if that were to happen...some good features.

Booked 2 rooms last minute during Frontier Days $110/night each room. The 2nd room was only checked out after our dinner out & after a long day of driving. Blood was found -the size of 2 hands...on the left side of the Bed ! and was stained right through to the mattress. Also 3 rips in the sheets.. Besides a fly being in the room, their were a couple of tiny black bugs on the bed (ticks?) & a black long hair ! If that wasn't enough to make you throw up - the thick dust on all of the heating vents & cable out of the wall & hole in bathroom ceiling was something else. As it was super late and no one was around in the office... and our relatives who were having car trouble and had provided our transportation had already gone to bed in the other room that was apparently acceptable - we op

Clean motel, small but very cheap so no complaints here. The floor looked a little gross but we were fine. Fortunately we couldn't smell smoke in our non smoking room despite cigarette buckets sitting outside multiple doors.
