St. Michaels Inn

We had an amazing experience here! We stayed one night as I was running the half marathon in town in the following day. The lobby was so welcoming and warm, and the room was exactly what we needed. Very clean and exactly the amenities we needed. I also love that it is just outside of the busy streets of St. Michaels, which made it more relaxing and quieter. It only took about 2 minutes to drive into town for dinner. And I love that you can park right outside your room! We will definitely be staying here again.

I hesitated to post a review but after a few months of trying to get a refund, I think others should be aware of my experience. I arrived with my family in September for a three night stay. We found bed bugs in our room. Took the bugs to the office as proof. Found a few dead ones as well. They offered us other rooms but my family was not comfortable with it. Although I had booked through Expedia, I was told that Expedia would have to reimburse me. I then had to put in a claim to get my refund. Expedia said the hotel wouldn’t above my refund. After months with no success, I know the hotel was paid by Expedia for my 3 nights stay and think it’s poor business for the Inn to not approve my refund.

Positive: The staff were very nice and helpful. Negative: My room was upstairs and no matter how quiet I was the person below me was bothered by "noise"

The room was clean but the bathroom had some maintenance issues (worn). There was no breakfast or manager in morning. Not a bad stay but over priced for what it is.

We had zero problem with this stay and would come back. Quite frankly some of the reviews for this motel are over the top dramatic and I think you need to keep in mind the price point when booking this motel. You're not going to get a five star Fours Seasons type luxury hotel for what your paying to stay here. Be realistic. It is an excellent value for service, cleanliness, and location. The most important thing to me is cleanliness. The room was spotless. No bedbugs and the bathroom, towels and sheets were clean. Is the hotel dated in some regards? Absolutely, but again, the price point. Saying that, the carpet wasn't in the best condition, this seems to be a common complaint, but it was clean. The maid came around every day and left the our room cleaned. This is a motel, so it's one
