Spa at Perry Cabin

Both me and my hubby were regular patrons, but last year management refused to accept our loyalty cards, one of which was fully punched, the other partially punched. We should have received a complimentary massage for being loyal customers but the manager said they no longer accepted the cards and had discontinued the program for locals. They’ve had our contact info on file (email and phone numbers) but we did not receive any notification about this change. Really? How much would it have cost to retain two loyal customers? The cost of paying one therapist for one treatment, a little massage oil, and laundry? (Overhead costs on massage services are low). Sad they didn’t think we were worth it after all of the money we had spent there plus all of the business we sent them through referrals.

I have been to many spas and absolutely love them, but this spa barely met expectations. First, they could barely fit us in for a massage and when we arrived we were the only 2 patrons in the entire building at noon. Second, we got to the relaxation room and they offered Apple cider and then immediately stated they didn’t have any left (even though there were no other individuals in the building) and when I asked if they could get more or any coffee they offered water while laughing at my request. Third, the specialists arrived 10 minutes late and charged us $330 (of which they quoted $280 including tax prior) for a 50 minute massage which lasted 44 minutes. I'd give this spa a 3.5 if possible. I haven't been to many spas so don't have much to compare against but the facility itself seemed pretty average. The masseuses had good personalities and did well but the management was so so. The robes, however, were very nice.

We loved the muddy buddies couples massage. It is a bit pricey but was a great experience. The staff were friendly and did a great job.
