Ship's Cove Inn and Resort

What a treasure! The home is beautiful and well equipped…so many touches throughout the house made our stay perfect. It is situated on an amazing piece of property so that there are 180 degree views of the water. Sitting in the Adirondack chairs watching the birds fly over the water was a favorite repast. It is a short walk or bike ride into town and we enjoyed all the restaurants and shopping! Mike and Melissa were consummate hosts and answered any questions we had We will definitely be back again!!

This waterside property is absolutely gorgeous. It may be called an “Inn” but it’s your own private sanctuary by the water. You’ll want to take pictures of every room & setting - the house, circle of Adirondack chairs by the waterside fire-pit, on-dock grilling/dining area, pool and pool house with wisteria trellis, line up of kayaks for early morning adventures, etc. etc. etc. Every amenity is taken care of, and all just a short bike ride to the town of Saint Michaels. My favorite getaway spot yet! AMAZING!

I enjoyed a fall gathering with some close friends this past weekend, and Ship's Cove Inn proved the ideal setting. The guest house accommodated all 10 of us perfectly, and we thoroughly enjoyed easy access to downtown St. Michaels and the gorgeous waterfront views. I could sit in that Adirondack chair by the river and watch fish jump and boats cruise by all day. My wife appreciated the dock specially built to gracefully launch one of the kayaks so that she could enjoy a leisurely paddle around the scenic waterways. This is a perfect place to anchor for a Chesapeake getaway, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who has an opportunity to relax and unwind with family or friends.

A group of friends gathered at Ship's Cove to do some gardening. We were there for the Oyster Festival, had a delicious dinner in town but most of all enjoyed the time we spend inside and out at Ship's Cove Inn. The house was so comfortable for the 11 of us - we just had a wonderful time. The views are spectacular and the gardens were a pleasure to work in. I would go back in a minute. It is perfect for a group of friends or family group. Spectacular.

I had the pleasure of being introduced to this breathtaking property for a girls’ getaway weekend. The property is well cared for and beautifully maintained. The decor speaks for itself - simply perfect - and the design allows for both indoor and outdoor entertaining and relaxation. Beautiful view of the water and access at the private dock. Kayaks, fire pit and heated pool - what more could we ask for!? Simply perfect - can’t wait to return.
