Squire Resort at the Grand Canyon, BW Signature Collection

Great location just a few miles from the Grand Canyon National Park entrance. Our rooms were very clean and spacious. The front desk employees were so helpful and informative. We ate at the dining room on site and enjoyed our meals. Overall, our experience was excellent.

We picked The Squire at the Grand Canyon for the convenience, and the location is indeed a plus—close to the Grand Canyon and easy for day trips.|The best part of our stay was the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful.|However, we were disappointed with the room condition. The room felt dated and worn, and the updates seemed minimal—more like fresh paint and updated lighting rather than a full renovation. Door was patched over and an electrical outlet appeared melted. We also noticed that parts of the hotel are still being remodeled, which contributed to an overall “still in progress” feel.|While the service was great, the room experience wasn’t what we were hoping for, and we would not stay here again.

I have zero complaints about this resort. The staff was super friendly and I did not do much research before booking so when they took the time to educate me on what is included,I was absolutely left in shock. There are indoor/outdoor pools, hot tub,bowling alley/arcade, restaurants, huge gift shop, fitness center,beverage center,outdoor patio,and probably more things that I did not explore due to my limited time. The rooms were comfortable but as most describe, they are a little dated but I could imagine getting materials to that area is not easy. My wife and I were gifted a suite by our family for our honeymoon, and we had such an incredible experience! Lots of fun things to do and see at this resort and the pool area outside was certainly a highlight for us! Being close to the Grand Canyon was also really nice, and we got to go visit there twice during our stay! The room was very pleasant and cozy, and it was very spacious. If I had any complaints, the jacuzzi jets did not work (but we didn’t really ask to try to get them fixed and I’m sure the staff would’ve helped out if we had asked because they were great) and the outside area with the Cornhole boards and table tennis wasn’t the best kept up, but we still had a great time using that area regardless! I do not recommend staying here unless it's a last resort. I was originally supposed to stay at Yavapai until there was a pipe issue. I was told in writing my reservation and rate would be honored. I had to call Yavapai and The Squire, I'd venture to say over 30 times in three days, because no one was giving me the same answer. ||The room was supposed to have a beer package, that I told was going to be honored and in my room. It was not. The front desk told me they would look into it, and never let me know until I called back over an hour later and still even an hour after that is when I was told they weren't going to honor it. ||At yavapai I signed up for a flex plan, and the Squire charged my card at check in- and again when I checked out.
