SpringHill Suites by Marriott Quakertown

Here on a business trip for a day. The room looked really nice, but the tv remote barely worked, the pillows were really bad and my hotel phone didn’t even work. The WiFi on the tv was not working to use any of the apps. Not the best experience here but not the worst either

Stayed at the Springhill Suites by Marriott Quakertown for 5 nights due to my mother being in a hospice facility nearby. There were several hotels in the area, but being a lifetime titanium we choose to stay here. So glad we did. Staff was great. Breakfast was good and plentiful with waffle maker. Room was clean. My mother passed away and in the flurry of activity, we left our laptop computer in the room when we checked out. The staff (Michael) was great in mailing it back to us since we lived in a remote part of Virginia. Would not hesitate to stay here again (but under better circumstances).

Positive: Clean and Negative: Odd room setup; disgusting limescale making showerhead useless; front desk clerk did not use logic when checking people & wasted time w lengthy conversation; pillows lumpy; no nightstand on one side of the bed; glass door on toilet room woke partner

The hotel is right off the main highway which is nice. The front desk evening staff was less than pleasant, barely looked up at me, and during a heat spell the hallways and common areas were insanely hot thus the reason for the 3 circles in lieu of 5. Rooms were updated and good size. Beds were incredibly comfortable, the highlight. Parking was good. Breakfast was typical no frills Springhill Suites, again, service sort of lacking. Paid $140 for the night which was average for the area. Recommend because of the beds and off highway location but expect below average service from the staff.

My wife and I stay here every year when we come visit our son in Pennsylvania. So it's been 3 years in a row. We always get the room with the king size bed. There are actually two sections to the room, one with a couch and a small fridge and of course the other area with the bed and the bathroom. This is conveniently located just off the Pennsylvania turnpike off of the Quakertown exit.
