Holiday Inn Express & Suites Quakertown - Allentown Area by IHG

I've stayed here many times. It's easy in and easy out. You can tell that the staff at this hotel really does try their best and they are super nice, but at the end of the day the rooms feel grimy and the hotel is in great need of repair. The furniture is worn out, the appliances are grody and I feel super gross using the bathroom. Ex: The floor tile is obviously dirty in spots. The caulking in the bathroom is full of black mold. There is barely water pressure in the shower. There is a lot of staining throughout the rooms, and carpet is ripped up. Half the plugs do not work. Bottom line is that it's okay for one night, but it does feel dirty and you'll want to shower at your destination. Bring house shoes and low expectations. The breakfast is free, but not good. Plan to stop somewhere

I looked at the website and saw an 888 number…I assumed it was through Holiday Inn for making reservations. Big mistake!! It’s actually a third party booking agency which I unfortunately found out when they screwed me. I booked two rooms for my family to visit my niece after our families devastating loss of my sister in November. I couldn’t remember if I took the cancellation policy. On my receipt was a place for a live chat which didn’t work. I then requested a call back. You had to give a reason … I said I couldn’t remember if I took the cancellation policy. Well on 12/23/25 I received a text message that they canceled my two rooms per MY request. FALSE I never asked for that. I called and spoke to Hannah who was no help and said she would call me back. Never did. I then called back and

This was my first day at the Holiday Inn express. To be honest I expected better. Checking was great, staff was very nice, breakfast was very good. The room, however, had some issues that I feel would be similar to a lower quality hotel. The water pressure was poor, air conditioning that did not have a separate thermostat and was unable to regulate the temperature in the room, the refrigerator froze everything we put in it even when set on a low setting, one of the lights didn't work, and there was mold in the bathroom. Again, this may be my expectations, but with the prices we paid and the Holiday Inn name, my expectations were higher. Overall it was a decent stay and I would stay there again.

Been staying here for years, after this last time, would NOT recommend! We came to stay here with 2 adults and 2 kids on Dec 28, checking out on Jan 1, 2026. It took us at least 30 min to check in because the rooms weren’t right, even though we called ahead twice to request connecting rooms bc we were traveling w kids. We called 1 month prior and again a couple days prior to check-in, where we were assured by the front desk that our connecting rooms were pre-assigned and would be all set. When we got there to check in, they had us on completely separate floors. It was in the notes we needed rooms together because of our young children. The girl at the front desk was polite & did her best to accommodate us at the time w what was available. Ended up in connecting rooms with a rollaway bed &

Ok but Honestly not worth $160 some dollars. Everywhere was booked for Valentine’s Day and the kids wanted an indoor pool so this was our last option left. The pool was good, extremely slippery though! The room was clean but in my opinion could use a serious remodel and update. For that price do better.
