This is the place to stay for sesame place vacations. Other hotels are close to the park but this is the only one I would feel comfortable walking with young children. Yeah they charge for parking but it’s cheaper than parking at sesame, and the convenience of packing up your wagons and strollers and kids in your hotel room is worth it. Rooms were big, clean, and comfortable during a heat wave. Plenty of options for breakfast. Pool was ok. Definitely not the quietest place to stay for couples without kids or people staying for business. No restaurant on site but good variety restaurants and fast food close by.
Positive: This hotel has the most amazing staff! Everyone is pleasant, friendly and welcoming & Always happy to help accommodate your needs. The rooms are large & very clean. Has a refreshing smell throughout. The breakfast bar is an added bonus to a great getaway. Negative: ""
Worked with their Group Sales Department to bring a group of high school students to a Speech and Debate Tournament. Wonder to work with, hotel was a great location, and provided clean, spacious rooms. The even had their free Breakfast ready to go so the kids could eat before we left for the tournament. Already looking forward to booking there for when we return next year.
The only reason why we went for this place is because it’s close to Sesame Place. Front desk person wasn’t that enthusiastic working there. I remember I went to her because the card to open our room wasn’t working. I just came back to use their pool and all I have with me is my phone, the card key and towel. Obviously i have to put the card key right next to my phone. But apparently you’re not supposed to do that because it will lose the card’s connection to open the door. How the hell do I know that! Next time put instructions on your card keys to avoid such hassle. Also, I’ve been to a lot of hotels and never had this problem. And they don’t even have toothpaste!
We went sesame place and stayed at this hotel for one night back in July. Upon arrival we checked in and were told we had to paid a $20 parking fee for our parking. Anyways we paid it. We had a room in the lower level, which was considered as the basement. Since when hotels have underground floors to stayed? Anyways we accepted it and were quite okay. Room and everything was cleaned. When checking out the next day we went over to sesame place and wanted to leave our car, I asked the front desk girl, if we can do so “she said no problem” we went over and came back for our car only to find out we had a parking ticket, Since the parking ticket receipt fell off the dash board and went on the driver seat. I went and asked the front desk if she remembered I had asked her if we can still parked
