Red Roof Inn Philadelphia - Oxford Valley

I loved this hotel! We had a room with one king bed and it was very clean and spacious and included a microwave and small fridge. The bathroom was a little cramped but clean, which is a priority for me. The staff was very friendly and helpful; we had no problem getting an extra pillow or sorting out my booking for an extra night. Parking is plentiful. The hotel is located near shopping centers and restaurants, which was very convenient. My only complaint would be that there were only two small bath towels and one hand towel for the two of us. We didn't bother to ask for extras. Overall, a terrific value!

I had a really unfortunate experience staying at this hotel and I would strongly caution others before booking here. Due to an unexpected situation during my stay, the hotel staff had to remove my belongings from my room. When I later received my items back, I noticed that several of my personal belongings were missing. Naturally, I went to the front desk to ask about it and try to figure out what happened. Instead of helping, the employee at the desk immediately became very defensive. From what I was told, she was also the person who packed up my belongings, which made the situation even more concerning. When I tried to discuss the missing items further, the manager got involved — who, I later found out, is the employee’s mother. She spoke to me on the phone and was extremely rude and dis

Positive: 1.Proximity to appointment the next day.2. Some upgrades to room.3. Wood-look floors to keep floor cleaner. Negative: 1. Rust stains in the tub.2. Employees did not wear a uniform shirt to designate that they were employees.3. Not being told about additional security deposit & how much, before I booked.4. Carpet under bed had stains.5. Security bar broken.

Bring own towels and rags. They also don't have great customer service. First time staying somewhere more than 1 day and they don't clean room or change towels . Close by sesame place only good thing other than that would not recommend. Also they say they charge $100 deposit for some reason I was charged $120. So far only 20 has been returned . I think this place is sketchy at best

stayed here one night as i was going to sesame place the following morning. easy and simple! i was able to have chinese food delivered to our door with no problems. i had a slight delay at checkout as the front desk woman was helping someone in another room which i thought was odd lol. overall nice!
