SpringHill Suites by Marriott New York Midtown Manhattan/Park Avenue

I would like to clarify something about a previous question. This hotel does not have a business center, just a meeting room in the lower level that can be booked in advance if you need it. If you’re used to Marriott’s quality & service this is not going to meet your expectations. It is really a good value hotel but your loyalty status will not make any difference. The man at the reception didn’t inform us that room service was booked in advance so our room was not cleaned during our stay. The bathroom sink wasn’t spotless as they usually are and we got a special needs accessible room which you might like if you need it but might also be somewhat inconvenient as taking a shower might be a bit troublesome and messy. Location is though, very convenient.

Horrible place. The rooms were so tiny, there is no room to walk around the bed.|My room rate included breakfast... they had pre-made omelettes - they were disgusting. they had tea/coffe, juice, yogurt, boiled eggs, toast. Bur for the price they are charging I would expect better breakfast. The gym so small... 2 treadmills, 2 elliptical, some weights and 2 mats. That's it... sufficient if you want to have a quick workout.

Had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Rooms were incredibly uncomfortable and very small, even by New York City standards. Bathroom, tiny. Lots of noise overnight. Flies in lobby bathroom that came out of the dryer when I was cleaning my hands. Housekeeping did not occur during our stay. I requested additional towels on our second day after our room was not cleaned, and all the towels were delivered I was told by the hotel that they had no additional washcloths, hand towels, or bath mats available. When I asked to talk to a manager, I was told that person would not be available until the next day. When I called Marriott, they informed me that they did not have anyone that could discuss a customer service issue. I had to call the next day and did find someone who was helpful, b

Positive: The staff was great and the room was super clean and comfortable. The Continental breakfast was very good. Negative: Nothing to dislike. I was very pleased.

This was a great place to stay for the night after a concert at Irving Plaza - it’s only a 10 minute walk. The breakfast was great and the room itself was good. Our shower door leaked water, ultimately making a puddle. And our room was front facing, so the garbage collection at 1am (what?!) was loud. Good thing we weren’t sleeping. The hot water in the shower was plentiful and the staff was friendly.
