Customer Reviews
The hotel is very well located, but unfortunately it suffers from a some lack of maintenance. The rooms are poorly soundproofed – it feels like you’re right on the street. The breakfast area looks outdated, with chairs and sofas covered in stains of all kinds. The front desk staff spend most of their time on their phones, don’t greet guests, and show little empathy.||On the positive side, the breakfast staff are attentive and friendly, and the beds are of good quality. The rooms are a bit old but kept clean. One last note: don’t even think of running the heating or AC at night – it’s far too noisy.
Positive: Guest services Negative: Yes, should have had valet parking as I am a disabled vet and walking to the garage and back was a bit.
Sherrise at the front desk was absolutely amazing!! We were stuck here in the blizzard and she made sure we were taken care of! The free breakfast is a nice bonus! The bathroom being in the middle of the room is a little strange, but that isn’t the hotels fault. The location is good, there are a couple subway stops like .3 to .5 away and you are only a couple blocks from Bryant Park.
Location is convenient—Midtown Manhattan on 54th St, easy walk to Fifth Avenue shopping, Rockefeller Center, MoMA, and subway lines. Close enough to Times Square and Central Park without being right in the chaos—great balance for sightseeing. Rooms were a highlight: spacious suite with full kitchenette (fridge, microwave, sink—perfect for breakfast/snacks), comfy bed, clean, and modern. Extra space felt luxurious for NYC. Service was decent—friendly staff, quick check-in, but some requests took longer than expected. Free hot breakfast had good variety (eggs, waffles, yogurt—usually fresh). Solid value for extended stays in Midtown—would consider again! 4 stars.
Easy check-in and a comfortable stay. The room was clean and quite small (but this is New York, so it’s expected). The bed was comfortable and the room was warm enough, even when we stayed during a snowstorm. The room has a safety box, microwave, and fridge. Breakfast is provided, though we didn’t try it. The location is perfect — right in the middle of NYC, close to K-town with plenty of food options, and very easy to get around from here. Overall, a convenient and comfortable place to stay.
