SpringHill Suites by Marriott Minneapolis Eden Prairie

Great location and customer service!! The hotel room is on par with what I have experienced at other Springhill suites. The TV was very old. My only issue was this property charged $3 plus tax for parking. I have never been charged for parking in any hotel property that was not in a Metropolitan area. To be honest, $3 is not a lot but it’s the principle of this considering this hotel is in a suburban area with neighboring businesses with plenty of parking. I think this additional revenue stream will likely turn off customers from returning to your property.

The value of the hotel is hard to beat. Located in Eden Prairie, it is in close proximity to the airport, Mall of America, eating, shopping, etc. The facility itself is starting to look a bit dated; carpet, seats, parts of the room were definitely not new. But it was clean and smelled fresh which is what matters. For the price I wasn't expecting 5-star looks. Breakfast was of a surprising variety. The weekend was a full continental and the weekdays had a good selection to keep one satisfied. The pool and hot tub were a nice touch for the kids. Not overly chlorinated or dirty. Staff was very friendly and unintrusive. My two complaints were 1.) the thermostat wasn't working right the first night and the room got hot. But the front desk had it fixed the next day. And 2.) for some reason

Good hotel with professional staff. Not the most up to date rooms. Rooms are in need of repair and/overhaul. Good breakfast and plenty of parking. 7/10

The hotel was fine, but at check in they asked if cleaning every other day was fine. I agreed. They cleaned the first time they were supposed to clean, but failed to clean the second time as requested. I'm generally of the belief that rooms should be cleaned every day, but please, make sure you do clean when you have agreed to.

Front Desk: Warm welcome and special highlight for Scott who really help us when we needed along my stay in a week. Room: Old but clean and spacious just the lighting a bit dim for me. Facilities: standard but I didn't use any Complimentary breakfast: American breakfast same everyday. Not many options make me miss Malaysia more.
