Sonesta Select Minneapolis Eden Prairie

If you’re looking for a place to stay short-term or long-term the Sonesta is a great place to stay! The front desk staff, housekeeping, and all other staff that make it run are super friendly and very accommodating! The hotel is in a great location for food, entertainment, and accessibility to other parts of the cities! It is also very quiet compared to other parts! I had to stay there for 60+ days for work and couldn’t have had a better place to rest my feet during that time. If I ever need a hotel in the cities I won’t have to look around

In town for a hockey tournament and this was one of two options provided. I chose this hotel and paid $30 more a night as the pictures showed a very nice pool area which would be great as it was also my son's birthday. When we got to the hotel, no pool, it was not available as they were remodeling. No information posted anywhere in or around the hotel, nothing on the corporate page, no information shared with the tournament. Front desk staff did not seem to really care and just smiled and said "it is almost done"! (I'm most likely not planning a return trip)||There was also no ice on our floor. Note on machine said to use third floor machine. Third floor machine did not work either.....||Breakfast is not great. Microwave your own sandwiches and you have to check in with the registe

Positive: The owners / staff were very welcoming. The room was simple and clean. Negative: Hotel was fairly empty yet assigned us next to the ice machine. Side entrances sidewalks had snow and ice - very dangerous. We traveled 16 hrs and the tv channels were primarily infomercials - no news, so no fox to watch bears/packers game.

They accommodated a group of 11 families coming in for a tournament on short notice. Staff was very friendly and grateful, the lobby was fantastic, the pool was actually open and warm. Rooms were nice and hotel very clean and updated. I'd have no hesitation going back.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Minnesota and found the experience to be mixed. The rooms themselves were average—clean enough to be comfortable, but nothing stood out in terms of décor, amenities, or overall upkeep. They served the basic purpose of providing a place to rest, though the furnishings and fixtures could benefit from some updating to match the standard guests might expect for the price point. One area of real concern was the pool facility. Safety standards did not appear to be fully met, with slippery surfaces and a general lack of maintenance that made it feel unsafe to use. Families traveling with children especially may find this disappointing, as the pool is often a highlight of hotel stays. It would be in the best interest of the management to invest in safety measure
