SpringHill Suites by Marriott Cincinnati Midtown

We liked the location on the northern edge of downtown. It was easy to jump on I-71 to visit family in the suburbs, as well as shop & dine in the Rookwood area. Parking is usually $10/night, but it was comped on arrival. The room layout (2 double beds + sitting area) suited us, but overall, the property is worn around the edges: slightly chipped furniture and the tub stopper did not work until we complained two days in a row. (That's problematic because for health reasons, I need a tub soak. Didn't get that until the third and final night.) Despite lobby photographs displaying crispy croissants, breakfast was the usual ho-hum hotel fare.||The staff is friendly, but communication to other departments such as maintenance (described above) and housekeeping was lacking. Positive: Room was quiet and designed nice. Very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Lobby area was large and welcoming. Negative: Pay to park in their own parking lot! Why? Seemed to be a money grab.

The rooms were clean & comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. I didn't really care for the pillows, but that's just my personal preference for a firmer pillow. Great location for restaurants and downtown events, without being right in the mix of downtown. But the front desk lady, Ms. Kisha, was the highlight of the trip. Her customer service and hospitality were so appreciated. We would definitely stay here again

We enjoyed a comfortable week long stay while in town for a family wedding. Cierra Bickel assisted with our accommodations and was incredibly kind and helpful. All the staff was welcoming and helpful as well. Cierra Bickel was so responsive prior to our stay and made the time to meet us personally during our stay. The accommodations were great for our family of 4. The hotel is conveniently located with plenty of great places to go nearby. The breakfast offered each morning was delicious and the hotel was clean and modern. We would stay again and recommend to others.

From the moment we arrived, Keisha at the front desk made us feel welcome! She was professional and warm. After our long drive, she helped us feel at home and cared for. Based on her excellent customer service, we will definitely stay here again on a future trip.
