SpringHill Suites by Marriott Cedar City

Seems to be a little bit of an older hotel, but the room was clean and comfortable. But as always the lighting is horrible! The room is dark, especially the area where the couch and desk are. Why are SpringHill Suites rooms so dark? And I usually hate the mirrors in the bathrooms. I'm 5' 1", in this bathroom mirror my face was only in the bottom 1/5 and that made my face almost totally in shadow. I had to put my make-up on in front of the window because that was the only place with enough light. Really, SpringHill Suites, is it that hard to put better lighting in your hotel rooms?

We were very pleased with our stay here. We have been on a two week road trip across country and back. We have stopped at several Marriott hotels. This is one of the best, there were a couple others also. The room was very clean and convenient, as we had our German Shepherd with us. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. Several restaurants in the area, with more being built. I loved that there was an additional sink by the fridge area. One of the few that the wifi worked great. The halls were clean. The area to the walk the dogs was great. Nice green grass, and the areas with rock were smaller rocks that did not bother my dogs paws. This is an excellent choice and I would stay there again and recommend to anyone that asks.

Overall our stay was fine. Bed was supremely comfortable, room clean and an average hotel breakfast. Pool area was a bit dirty though and didn't look very good. Room was also a bit awkwardly designed with the TV half facing the "bedroom" and the other half facing the desk, it wasn't at all convenient.

This was one of the most disappointing Spring Hill Suites I’ve ever stayed at. The gym is ridiculously small with only three cardio machine. No bread for toast at breakfast nor skim milk. We are priority customers so we have the option of getting our room cleaned daily, which we requested but didn’t happen. Most of the staff was nice with the exception of the woman who checked us in. The hotel was clean. I just expected a bit more from this Marriott brand. The Spring Hill Suites we stayed at in Boise, Idaho just a couple of weeks ago was excellent.

Positive: Where do I start in what I liked best?!? The room! The Staff! The location! The comfortable bed! The breakfast! It was a GREAT stay for me! Negative: Only thing I didn't like about this hotel was that I could stay longer!
