SpringHill Suites by Marriott Bridgeport Clarksburg

Great stay — super comfortable and convenient! I had a really enjoyable stay here. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable — easily some of the best I’ve slept on in a hotel. The room was very clean and well-kept, and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The location is also a huge plus: it’s right off the interstate and surrounded by plenty of stores and restaurants, which made everything incredibly convenient. The hotel also offered a nice variety for breakfast, which was a great way to start the morning. Overall, a great place to stay — I’d definitely come back!

The beds in my room were quite worn out and sagging- maybe "broken"? I mentioned this to the front desk associate and said stated, "they are standard Marriott beds". I explained to her that they were very uncomfortable, the mattress springs were 'squeaking', the mattresses were sagging in the middle, and that they did not feel anything like a "Marriott bed". She responded with the same exact statement and I suggested that they might want to check the beds in the room in which I stayed. I just got a blank stare after that. I gave 3 stars for service because there wasn't any "service" during my stay other than breakfast being available in the morning and no employee interaction plus my front desk interaction. Everything at this hotel was great. It was clean, I had a spacious room, breakfast was very good, staff were friendly. They just seem to have it all together. It was nice to have it be a nice place to stay.

Great hotel with excellent service! My luggage was delayed 24hrs at the airport and the hotel staff genuinely cared about my situation and provided a number of basics (toothbrush, deodorant, etc) without me even asking. The hotel staff’s attentiveness made me feel like I was staying with friends and not at a big hotel. Breakfast is simple but tasty. Would happily return when I’m in the area.

My husband and I were there for 3 nights. The room was clean and the amenities were excellent. The only downside of our stay was the breakfast that was provided. The staff told us that the choices were made by Marriott. The only hot dishes were a single serve breakfast biscuit or a cooked individual quiche. I don’t tolerate spicy food very well and these choices always had chilies or other types of peppers in them. I stayed at another motel last month and they had the waffle batter, scrambled eggs, and bacon among their choices. I hope Marriott changes their food choices back to pre Covid choices.
