SpringHill Suites by Marriott Baltimore Downtown/Inner Harbor

We wanted a nice place for my husband to begin recuperating after major surgery. SpringHill Suites was a perfect choice. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and our room was indeed a suite which felt like a comfortable apartment, with a laundry in the basement (along with the gym and the beautiful old bank vault which has been converted to a meeting room). Everything was neat and clean, and housekeeping was great about respecting our need for my husband to have peace and quiet. It's just a couple of blocks north of the Inner Harbor. We were able to use delivery services and Lyft with ease because the entrance is not on one of the more congested streets. Stayed here to celebrate my sister's birthday and have a girls' weekend November 13-16, 2025. The staff were incredible - shoutout to Wilhemenia for her outstanding hospitality and Shay for letting us borrow her birthday balloons so we could take some photos with them in front of the vault downstairs! - and the location made it so easy to get around and explore the city on foot. I think the parking situation could be a bit better explained prior to check-in; I'd never been to this hotel before and not knowing any better, I followed the signs once I arrived to use the parking garage next door since there was very little street parking and I didn't know how expensive the garage would be compared to the valet parking that was offered through the hotel. Positive: Clean room and tasteful older builder. Excellent, friendly staff at desk, breakfast bar and happy hour bar. Negative: Saturday night was little noisy into the early morning hours with loud motorcycles revving on the nearby cross streets.

This place did the job - clean room, centrally located, and probably best price on parking. There is a hotel bar - Shay was fun to chat with while we had a drink. Pricing was average for any other bar. There were smaller things about the hotel that could have been improved… 1) It would have been helpful to know before arriving that the hotel parking was valet only. 2) The music by the elevators is very loud. 3) Only one USB port per room - not great for 2 people trying to charge phones. 4) Overall the rooms were worn down and a little dated. They have those square pillows which are just kinda awkward. 5) Someone had messed with the picture setting on the TV and we had no access to adjust it. 6) The coffee was almost never hot and was very weak. 7) The breakfast… do NOT accept it to be like

For our girls trip we chose to stay central and this hotel was a hit! Near all the attractions we wanted to see, hot breakfast included but what impressed me the most was hospitality. Ms. King the Front desk manager was not only informative and professional but she made us feel like it was home away from home. Top notch for sure. Find her smiling face when you are in Baltimore.
