Customer Reviews
Mice, foreign hairs and more!!! We chose The Ivy Hotel for a special luxury stay and, while the on-site staff were phenomenal and provided truly warm service, the overall experience was deeply disappointing. Shortly after arrival we found foreign hairs in our room, which we initially overlooked. However, during breakfast a mouse ran across the restaurant floor, and later another mouse appeared in the parlor during cocktails. Experiencing rodent activity in multiple guest areas within a two-night stay made it impossible to fully relax or enjoy the property. Afterward, Thereza Theocharidou emailed to schedule a follow-up call. Despite my repeated follow-ups — and two scheduled appointments — the calls never occurred. Management ultimately issued a 20% credit that essentially covered the meal
We live in the suburbs of Baltimore. We usually get out of town for our anniversary; this year I wanted to do something different but very special. The Ivy Hotel delivered in every way!||From start to finish the customer service and communication was excellent. The property is absolutely beautiful. Our time at the Ivy was delightful and relaxing. ||A very special thank you to Christina who handled our reservation; James the excellent concierge and host; Anthony for an outstanding tea (kudos to the pastry chef, yum!); Preston our driver; Leann my message therapist, and Jackie who made our last breakfast at the Ivy special. ||A visit to the Ivy as a local or out of town guest is a perfect retreat.
We stayed in room 16 on the fourth floor and enjoyed the decor and the fireplace. Even thought the fireplace looked small, it gave off a great amount of heat. Almost too much! We loved the mini bar and all the amenities available in the room and the common areas. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was that check-in is at 4pm and tea service ends at 3:30pm. Thus, we missed the tea by a half an hour. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. We will recommend the Ivy to others.
I booked an overnight reservation for my husband's birthday celebration. The entire experience was unique and simply outstanding in every way! We were made to feel VERY SPECIAL by each and every staff member with whom we engaged. We were CONTINUALLY welcomed throughout the stay from the person who opened the car door and greeted us by name to the very knowledgeable concierges, the room service staff, the culinary staff, the bellman, the driver, Lottie Dottie and EVERYBODY! The hotel was very clean and beautifully adorned with pictures, books, furniture, plants and artifacts that told the story of the hotel. This includes the very accommodating bedroom with a comfortable canopy bed and a pristine, spacious and updated bathroom. One could ALWAYS count on soul-stirring music playing in
hour ago on Google|Opulent is the word that comes to mind when I think of our experience at the Ivy Hotel. In a world where customer service seems to be an afterthought, The Ivy Hotel elevates it. From the moment you arrive you are greeted by name by everyone you encounter. You are given a brief tour of the historic, yet updated and upgraded property. We had the pleasure of staying in room 18, a two story, 1.5 bath space that was simply perfect. You have the use of the house car at no additional charge which is highly convenient. The breakfast is included and the high level of service makes you feel compelled to leave a tip, but you are not allowed to, no tipping here! It's very easy to understand why this hotel has a Michelin Two-Key Distinction which is what hotels receive for exception
