SpringHill Suites by Marriott Avon Vail Valley

We stay here for the Beavo kids ski program all ski season. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The breakfast is soooo much better than it was when it first opened. It’s great now. The main thing we keep staying here for are the super comfortable beds. We’ve stayed at Comfort Inn, Christy’s, & The Sheraton. All their beds are not comfortable. Townplace Suites, Springhill Suites and The Westin are the most comfortable beds. You can’t have a relaxing stay without a good night’s sleep.

Positive: Hotel is very nice and new. Lobby and rooms were clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable Negative: The only thing I didnt like was the terrible water pressure in the shower. It took me forever to wash my hair

The property feels practically new, everything looks modern, elegant, and very well maintained. The room was clean and comfortable, and the lobby had a polished, upscale feel. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were a huge highlight, being able to relax in warm water while taking in the mountain views was honestly one of the best parts of the stay. The staff at the front desk was consistently friendly and welcoming. Every interaction felt warm and genuine, and they were kind enough to allow an early check-in, which I really appreciated. The check-out process was also very straightforward and smooth. Breakfast was decent overall, nothing extraordinary, but it did the job and was convenient to have included. Large cozy fire pit and roomy, clean extra hot jacuzzi! The front desk staff, Sadie and Ruby were wonderful along with Jeffrey at the bar— the others could use some customer friendliness. There’s a gas station next door for basic items. Rooms are standard Springhill which is great for consistency. As well as the continental breakfast is standard to Marriotts. The gym was fully equipped. Shuttle service is also helpful to certain areas. Some improvements could be made, the gym was not spotless and there were no wipes for equipment. The laundry is a pain— registration on an app is required and has a minimum of $10 or quarters only, each load is $2.50 . A beautiful new hotel with spacious rooms. We had a King suite with pull out couch that we could put our luggage on. it has a big bathroom, a lovely lit coffee bar as you walk in the room, a desk with ample plugs for your devices. The breakfast bar is one of the best of anywhere we have stayed. A drawback is the clock has such a short cord that can’t be seen across the room. I went down to get hot water after the breakfast time and was ignored. We got cups and went to our room and made our tea.
