Hummingbird Lodge

This is truly a 5* experience. We have been coming for years and can't imagine staying anywhere else in BC

My family and I made a trip to Beaver Creek last weekend and decided to splurge and stay at Hummingbird Lodge. Our three bedroom condo was amazing! It was by far money well spent! The privacy of Bachelor Gulch seemed as if we had the whole place to ourselves, but the on site staff was always eager to help if we needed anything. Sandra and Kyle at the front desk helped us with restaurant reservations and airport transportation and were very helpful. My kids loved the hot tubs at Hummingbird and I enjoyed the gym every morning as well. We had Apres ski drinks at the Ritz on Saturday then took the free shuttle back up the hill to Hummingbird! If you want a luxury ski vacation Bachelor Gulch is the way to go. It even snowed 8 inches while we were there!!

We live nearby and recently rented a four bedroom condo at Hummingbird Lodge when family came in town to visit. We enjoyed everything about our stay - condo was clean and beautifully furnished, views were amazing, plenty of space to spread out, easy check-in/out at the reception center, free shuttle service to the Ritz Carlton, indoor garage parking, elevator straight to the condo - it was a perfect week! The staff was there to help with whatever we needed, big thanks to Adrienne, Kyle and Eric. I would highly recommend staying here, any time of year.

If you seek all of the following, this experience will be hard to top anywhere in the skiing world.||1. Privacy and security. Super quiet. This is not a partying location.||2. Fantastic shuttle service to Beaver Creek, Avon, Ritz. ||3. Access to the Ritz ticket window/ski shop, restaurants, massage facility, ski lift||4..Gourmet kitchen. Luxury surroundings in each room. It feels like home not an impersonal tired rental.||5. A true ski in/ski out experience with private ski locker storage and dressing room.||6. Extremely helpful concierge.||7. Garage parking for 1 car but it is snug.||No question we will return.

It is actually exactly what you hope for when you look for ski in/ski out. In fact, the last day of our trip, all 14 people staying in the 4 BR condos skied out together in the am and back for lunch later. Amazing. The basement lounge area close to the bunk room made it so the kids and adults had separate hang spaces. But when all 14 of us wanted to do a movie night, we could do that easily. Kitchen was great - we ate in all 4 nights. Grill was in excelllent condition. Lots of towels. Jacuzzi is close but not in the condo itself. It’s a one minute walk. For multiple families, 101A at Hummingbird was perfect.
