Spark by Hilton Germantown Washington DC North

Positive: Front desk staff were friendly. Negative: I did not like: the 2 elevators were quite dirty, especially after 1 no longer was available due to a mechanical issue. The stairwells were quite dirty as well. The onsite gym was inadequate, with some equipment not working. Parking was terrible.

I just want to extend my gratitude for the kindness of the man working at the front desk when we arrived. We had made a booking error which was entirely our fault, but he was kind enough to fix it at no cost to us. Not only that, he was extremely friendly. All the other staff were similarly very kind. Breakfast was adequate and so were our rooms. Quite comfy the beds were. Tea in the lobby too for our nightly tea.

Excellent location, clean hotel, and amazing value. I needed a hotel close to the Germantown Sports Complex. ||The staff was truly exceptional—and when I say exceptional, I mean it. The front desk team members were awesome, with special thanks to Barack and Crystal, who were kind, accommodating, joyful, and genuinely hospitable. The breakfast team was also attentive and welcoming; one team member even went to the back to get ice for my water bottle, which was such a thoughtful touch.||My room was cute, clean, and very comfortable. The furniture was smart and functional, and I really loved the design and layout of the rooms.||I was meeting my elderly parents at the hotel, and they arrived separately and checked in before I did. Barack went above and beyond to make sure they were well cared

This hotel was clean, comfortable, and a convenient place to stay for the night while on a road trip. Unfortunately, my check-in experience was dismal. When I arrived at approximately 1:00 a.m., the front door was locked. I rang the bell, and instead of offering a welcoming greeting, the clerk waved his hand and shouted, “Use your key.” When he eventually opened the door, I explained that I did not yet have a key and needed to check in. He did not acknowledge my Hilton Honors status or offer a bottle of water. The room itself was clean and well renovated. The breakfast area was well stocked, and the attendant was courteous. While the bagel bar was not particularly exciting, it was exactly as advertised. In the morning, I stopped by the front desk and found no one available to assist me.

Very clean hotel . Super friendly staff who are extremely accommodating. I wished there were more in the area to go do however it’s not too far from some really fun attractions. I try my best not to be a bad guest but usually have random requests and the team here at Spark Hilton were so amazing with my ridiculousness. Everyone was incredibly kind and in addition I’d like to spotlight Crystal and Alaina for their helpfulness, kindness and wealth of knowledge ! Planning another visit just to be out of the city and the staff has me really excited about returning .
